EquityPilot

This is a working draft of the EquityPilot Privacy Policy. Final legal copy will be reviewed by counsel before launch and may differ in wording.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide during eligibility screening (contact details, property and financial estimates), information generated as you use the service (status updates, scenario inputs, AI coach messages), and basic technical metadata. We do not request or accept Social Security numbers, full government ID numbers, account/routing numbers, or photos of identification documents in the app — sensitive information is collected by your specialist on a secure channel.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate the service, route your file to a specialist when you request it, generate plan estimates, provide support, and improve the product. We do not sell your information.

3. Sharing

When you request a specialist review, we share the necessary parts of your file with the assigned specialist. We use service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, AI inference) under data processing terms. We may disclose information when required by law.

4. Your choices

You can update file information from the dashboard, cancel a subscription from settings, request data download or deletion, and opt out of non-essential communications. Some records (acceptance logs, audit history) are retained as required.

5. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest and apply access controls to limit who can see your data. No system is perfectly secure; we describe security in functional terms and do not make absolute guarantees.

6. Children

EquityPilot is not directed to children under 18.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated and may require re-acceptance.
